Joining KCEFT
We welcome members who meet the following guidelines:
Completion of Approved Externship: Members must have completed a minimum of one ICEEFT-approved externship.
ICEEFT Membership: To be listed on the website, members must be current members of ICEEFT (International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy).
Payment of Dues: Members must have paid all applicable dues for the current membership year.
Active License: Members must hold an active license to practice psychotherapy issued by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (KS BSRB) or the Missouri Professional Licensing Board (MO Pro).
Attendance at Community Meetings: Members are required to attend at least 50% of the scheduled meetings (community meetings, socials and annual meeting) per calendar year.
Annual Meeting Attendance: All members are strongly encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting of the organization, which occurs the fourth Friday of January at 9am in order to support the upcoming year’s agenda.
